Why SBIP Exists:
We exist to provide parents, community members, educators, and elected officials a place to report school district issues in confidence, even if their children are not enrolled in the public education system.

SBIPs 5-Point Investigation Method
SBIP follows a 5-point method to investigate issues in K-12 schools. This process generally prioritizes parental rights and student advocacy to resolve conflicts in campus safety and district policies.
Method 1
RESEARCH
When K-12 community members submit an inquiry, SBIP will research the issue by watching school board proceedings, monitoring district policies and curriculum, and confirming details found in local and mainstream media.
Method 3
VERIFY
While most details are validated during research and investigation phases, SBIP reinforces the integrity of its advocacy by consulting K-12 community members with firsthand knowledge and only reporting on verifiable facts.
Method 5
FOLLOW UP
SBIP partners with K-12 community members to oversee conflict resolution processes in their districts and encourages community members to notify State or Federal boards of education, file formal complaints, and/or initiate legal action.
Method 2
INVESTIGATE
SBIP’s school district investigations include submitting public records requests and FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, interviewing community leaders, and creating official records of incidents taking place on school grounds.
Method 4
PUBLICIZE
When issues can’t be resolved at the school, district, or local level, SBIP utilizes journalistic style publications, social media posts, discussion forums, and influencer collaborations to alert community members who may be affected.
